TACLOBAN CITY — The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in Eastern Visayas will start its investigation on Monday, Dec. 16, into the mysterious dumping of around 24 drums that allegedly contained expired medicines and vitamins into a river in Babatngon, Leyte, last Dec. 9, 2024.

NBI-8 director Emeterio Dongallo Jr. told The Manila Times that he sent an investigating team to Babatngon, Leyte on Saturday, Dec. 14, and coordinated with the local police to investigate the issue following their receipt of the information from The Times.
