Ang lupet ng 'Wicked'!

GRAMMARAMA!

FOR context, I am writing this on a Sunday and yesterday, we were finally able to see 'Wicked'! I hope we're not late to the party! Ang lupet! No pun intended. It was a full production that deserved no less than a standing ovation. I had never seen any version of it prior to yesterday and was always curious. On the other hand, I love 'The Wizard of Oz,' I hold it close to my heart because it always brings back happy memories of my childhood. Seeing one of the older versions of it with Judy Garland at school for the first time in grade school is a core memory. And more so the Motown version — 'The Wiz' — with Michael Jackson and Diana Ross coming together in the ensemble! I loved it so much that it got me glued to the TV from start to finish with my hands on my chin, my front side on the bed, and my legs crossed! If you haven't seen it, oh boy, you're missing out! Anyway, speaking of movies, do you say, 'see a movie' or 'watch a movie?' Or do you use them interchangeably? Well, we should say, 'see a movie' if we mean going to a public theater to catch it, and 'watch a movie' if we mean catching it in the comfort of our homes or anyone's house for that matter. Now, that's wickedly accurate grammar!
