PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has awarded the Gawad Kalasag Seal to Caloocan Mayor Dale Gonzalo Malapitan after the Office of Civil Defense – National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (OCD-NDRRMC) declared the city as the Best Highly-Urbanized City in the country.
The recognition was specifically meant for Caloocan's excellent Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) and Humanitarian Assistance programs, the OCD-NDRRMC said.
