BAUANG, La Union — Hundreds of townsfolk cheered as the annual Pasko sa Kapitolyo Christmas lights made up of thousands of bougainvilleas were formally opened on Wednesday night, Dec. 11, in San Fernando in La Union province.
A thousand bougainvillea lanterns lit up the La Union provincial capitol grounds during the formal opening attended by Gov. Raphaelle Veronica "Rafy" Ortega-David, who led the ceremonial lighting.
