P4.7M lost in Bacolod market fire

BACOLOD CITY — An early morning fire razed the Bacolod Central Market on Friday causing an estimated damage of P4.752 million.

FSupt. Jenny Mae Masip, Bacolod Fire Marshal, said 18 stalls were totally destroyed by the fire while 13 others were damaged, leaving many of the vendors, who were not able to save their goods and belongings from the fire, in tears.
