MANDAUE CITY — As compliance to the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to close all Philippine offshore gaming operators (POGOs) in the country before the year ends, seven establishments in Mandaue City that engaged in POGO-like activities had their licenses revoked by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor).
August Lizer Malate, head of the Mandaue City Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO), said on Friday that Pagcor informed Mayor Glenn Bercede about the matter.
