THE Department of Social Welfare and Development's Field Offices 6 and 7 (DSWD FO-6 and DSWD FO-7) dispatched psychosocial first aid responders to assist children and other vulnerable people in coping with the trauma created by the recent eruption of Mount Kanlaon on Negros Island.

In La Carlota City, Negros Occidental, DSWD FO-6 (Western Visayas), in partnership with the local government unit (LGU), storytelling sessions for children who were temporarily housed in evacuation shelters were held.
