NEARLY 70,000 passed the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) held on Sept. 29 at various testing centers around the country, the Professional Regulation Commission said Friday.

Out of 44,002, 20,025 qualified as elementary school teachers (45.51 percent), while 48,875 out of 85,926 (56.88 percent) qualified as secondary school teachers.
