CEBU CITY — Central Visayas has emerged as the region with the highest number of dengue cases nationwide this year, registering over 33,000 infections and surpassing all other regions in the country.
Data from the Department of Health's (DOH) Epidemiology Bureau revealed that Region 7 recorded 33,651 dengue cases from Jan. 1 to Nov. 9, 2024.
