BAGUIO CITY — The Supreme Court has denied with finality all motions for reconsideration (MRs) filed by Camp John Hay Development Corp. and its third-party respondents over the 247-hectare special economic zone (SEZ) at Camp John Hay.
The Bases Conversion Development Authority (BCDA), which oversees the management and operation of former American bases in the country, confirmed that the Supreme Court en banc in a resolution dated Oct. 22, 2024, has denied with finality all MRs, allowing BCDA to recover the 247-hectare John Hay SEZ.
