TWO years ago, the Gawad Banyuhay was launched by the Carl Balita Foundation to give recognition to personalities who led a life to transform others. "Banyuhay" is a coined word to blend Filipino words bago (new), anyo (form) and buhay (life). Awardees were individuals and organizations that helped the Filipino resiliency during the pandemic.
This year, Gawad Banyuhay gathered 31 content creators who were selected by a board of judges from the nomination of the Carl Balita Review Center branches nationwide. The criteria were derived from "Banyuhay" — positive content creation for social change.
