ROS extends patience as big man Luis Villegas set to undergo knee surgery again

MANILA, Philippines — Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao admits the coaching staff and players will have to play the waiting game as sophomore big man Luis Villegas is expected to undergo surgery soon to address his problematic knee.

Already kept out of action in the entire PBA Season 48 due to a torn ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) he suffered before applying in the PBA draft last year, the 6-foot-8 Villegas, who played a few games in the Governors' Cup, is practically out for Season 49.
