LIBON, Albay — A huge parcel of rice land in Albay was destroyed by the flood after Severe Tropical Storm Kristine battered the province over a month ago. The rampaging flood waters also destroyed the concrete dikes in San Agustin, Libon town, that used to protect the farm lands from flooding.
As the farmers prepare to plant again, 3rd District Rep. Fernando Cabredo has asked President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to help them rebuild the flood control embankment.
