MANILA, Philippines — Despite scattered and isolated rain showers in many parts, the country will remain storm-free at least until this weekend, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Wednesday.
Pagasa weather specialist Benison Estareja said three weather systems - shear line, easterlies and northeast monsoon or "amihan" - are affecting most parts of the archipelago.
