THE country's trade deficit widened in October as imports grew and exports contracted, preliminary Philippine Statistics Authority data showed on Tuesday.
At $5.8 billion, the shortfall rose from $4.2 billion a year ago and was also higher than the $5.1 billion a month earlier.
