MANILA, Philippines — While Quentin Millora-Brown deserves all the credit for his dominating Game One performance in the UAAP Season 87 men's basketball Finals, rookie forward Jacob Bayla definitely deserves his flowers, too.
Bayla's defensive effort in shutting down soon-to-be-crowned back-to-back MVP Kevin Quiambao proved to be a much-needed boost for the Fighting Maroons, as UP took down the defending champs De La Salle Green Archers to move on cusp of a title revenge with a 73-65 win.
