GOCC subsidies up year on year

SUBSIDIES to government-owned and -controlled corporations (GOCCs) totaled P11.97 billion in October, data from the Bureau of the Treasury showed, higher than the P9.19 billion recorded a year earlier but down from September's P18.22 billion.

Year to date, GOCC subsidies rose to P117.21 billion, lower than the P146.32 billion in January-October 2023.
