SEN. Bong Go hailed the crucial role of councilors in community development, noting compassion for vulnerable sectors should be the cornerstone of public service.
"In reality, our jobs were the same. The only difference is that you are at the municipal or city level while we senators are at the national level. As councilors, you are in a vital position to bring about positive change in your communities," Go said during the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) yearend assembly at the World Trade Center in Pasay City on Tuesday.
