Actor-comedian Jose Manalo proposes to longtime partner

MANILA, Philippines — Comedian and 'Eat Bulaga!' host Jose Manalo is officially engaged to his longtime partner, former EB Babe Mergene Maranan.

The heartfelt proposal happened on Dec. 2 at a picturesque resort, with Manalo serenading Maranan to the tune of Yeng Constantino's 'Ikaw.' The moment was made even more special as the rendition was accompanied by a guitarist and saxophonist.
