Kim Henares elected Basic Energy chairman

FORMER Bureau of Internal Revenue commissioner Kim Henares has been named chairman of Basic Energy Corp., and Alberto Emilio Ramos was also named director following the resignation of Ramon Mapa.

'Ms. Kim Jacinto-Henares and Alberto Emilio Ramos shall serve the unexpired term of office and shall serve as chair of the board and director, respectively, until their successors are duly elected and qualified,' Basic Energy told the stock exchange on Thursday.
