ASIDE from making their work in the field faster and less difficult, the members of the Botolan Muna Farmers' Multi-Purpose Cooperative (BMFMPC) in Botolan, Zambales have reported reduced production cost in cultivating rice from the time they started using machines provided to them under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Mechanization Program.
One of the machines that proved beneficial to them is for land preparation, which was traditionally done manually.
