TACLOBAN CITY — The Sangguniang Bayan of Palompon, Leyte, adopted a resolution opposing House Bill (HB) 11077, an act creating the province of Western Leyte.
In a press conference on Wednesday, Leyte provincial board member Carlo Loreto stated that Palompon town presented Sanggunian Resolution 1361-021224 at the provincial board meeting to voice their objection to the measure introduced by Rep. Richard Gomez.
