THE Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) received the Rafael M. Salas Kaunlarang Pantao Award from the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) for promoting responsible parenting among recipients of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).
The DSWD's integration of responsible parenthood and family planning (RPFP) into 4Ps contributed to the achievement of the Philippine Population and Development Plan of Action 2023-2028.
