PH peace educ policy selected as World Future Policy Award finalist

THE Philippines' landmark Executive Order (EO) 570, also known as Institutionalizing Peace Education in Basic and Teacher Education, has been named one of 12 finalists for the prestigious World Future Policy Award 2024.

Issued by then-president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo on Sept. 26, 2006, EO 570, mandates the integration of peace education into the nation's basic education and teacher education curricula.
