THE Department of Science and Technology (DOST) celebrated groundbreaking advancements and a renewed vision for the Philippine textile industry at the 2024 Philippine Textile Congress, which brought together leaders, scientists and policymakers to discuss the role of innovation in transforming the industry and fostering sustainable development in the country.

In his message, DOST Secretary Renato Solidum Jr. cheered the Philippine Textile Research Institute (PTRI) for its commitment to elevating textile research and fostering innovation across the sector.
