Rama, Garcia in virtual tug-of-war

CEBU CITY — A tense standoff unfolded at Cebu City Hall on Monday, Dec. 2, as former mayor Michael Rama stood beside incumbent Mayor Raymond Garcia during a flag-raising ceremony that sent the city hall employees in an uncomfortable situation.

Rama and Garcia have remained in virtual tug-of-war even as the latter had been installed as mayor after the former's suspension had altogether resulted in a perpetual disqualification from holding public office.
