(UPDATE) A LAS PIÑAS City councilor has reminded real property owners to settle their taxes early and take advantage of discounts offered for prompt payment in 2025.
Councilor Mark Anthony Santos announced on Wednesday that the advance real property tax payment period would run until Dec. 15, 2024. Taxpayers who settle their dues by this date will receive a 20 percent discount. Payments made from Dec. 16 to 31 will qualify for a 16 percent discount, while payments completed between Jan. 1 and 31, 2025, will be granted a 10 percent discount.
