THE Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) will intensify compliance monitoring, enhance safety awareness, advocate for international standards on seafarer education and certification, and modernize governance frameworks in 2025 to boost maritime safety and competitiveness.
These priorities were announced during its three-day Year-End Performance Assessment and Planning Conference held in Batangas from Nov. 27-29. The conference reviewed Marina's 2024 accomplishments and identified key deliverables aligned with its Voyage Plan for 2025.
