MANILA, Philippines — Two-time Olympic medalist Nesthy Petecio was promoted by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) as a result of her bronze medal at the Paris Olympics.
During a ceremony at the PCG headquarters on Monday, the women's boxer was promoted from Petty Officer 2nd Class to Petty Officer First Class.
