FOLLOWING two consecutive ash emission events that took place on Monday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said it is now on a tight watch as it may 'lead to a major eruption.'
Phivolcs director Teresito Bacolcol said the ash emissions first occurred around 7:46 a.m. until 7:53 a.m. while the second event transpired at 8:16 a.m. and lasted for 14 minutes.
