THE indigenous Molbog people of Balabac, Palawan, strongly condemned the misuse and misappropriation of their name and rights by the Sambilog-Balik Bugsuk Movement which claimed to represent them as the rightful heirs of their ancestral lands in Bugsuk and Mariahangin.
Balabac Municipal Indigenous People Mandatory Representative chieftain Ariel Monsarapa said the Molbog people have long lived and cared for the islands and waters of Balabac based on their history and culture.
