Harry Roque refutes human trafficking raps

MANILA, Philippines — Former Malacañang spokesman Harry Roque on Tuesday filed his counter-affidavit before the Department of Justice, refuting human trafficking allegations levelled against him by the Philippine National Police – Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) and the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (Paocc).

'I filed my counter-affidavit, which I filed before the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates... Since a case was filed against me for syndicated human trafficking, the complainants need proof that there was trafficking that happened and I was responsible,' Roque said in a press briefing streamed live via Facebook.
