REVIVING the Half-Cup Rice Bill may help further reduce rice waste in the country, the Department of Agriculture (DA) said on Monday.
The Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) last week said the country saved P3.6 billion from reduced wastage of the staple. The savings were based on the current price of rice at P43 a kilo.
