LEGAZPI CITY — The Energy Development Corp. (EDC) bagged the Green Company of the Year Award given by 2024 Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability (ACES) in Bangkok, Thailand.
EDC public relations specialist France Loyola said that EDC, First Gen Corporation's 100 percent renewable energy company, got the award for promoting biodiversity, restoring forest lands, and mitigating the devastating effects of climate change in the country through its banner environmental program, Binhi.
