(UPDATE) MANILA, Philippines — Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte announced on Sunday the 33 recipients of the city's 2024 Green Awards, which include barangay, schools, hospitals, businesses and youth organizations.
Belmonte said this year's awardees showcased how the multi-sectoral and whole-of-city approach plays a crucial role in mitigating and adapting to the effects of climate change.
