CEBU CITY — A nursing graduate who topped the 2024 Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE) has called on the government on Friday to improve the working conditions for nurses in the Philippines.
Chariemae Cañazares, a Cebu Normal University (CNU) graduate who garnered a 92.60 percent rating, cited the need for a higher pay, manageable workloads and improved working conditions to enable the Filipino nurses to remain in the country.
