CEBU CITY — In response to the devastation caused by recent typhoons in the country, the city government of Cebu has decided to scale down Christmas celebrations this year.
Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia is urging department heads to be mindful of their budgets and avoid unnecessary expenditures in light of the ongoing recovery efforts in areas devastated by the typhoons.
