(UPDATE) KYIV — Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday threatened to hit "decision-making centers" in Kyiv with Russia's new hypersonic missile, hours after Moscow pounded Ukraine's energy network, leaving a million people without electricity.

Russia launched over 90 missiles and around 100 drones during the barrage, according to Kyiv, with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urging his allies to respond firmly to what he called Russian "blackmail."
