THE Philippine Postal Corp. (PHLPost) made history on Friday by unveiling the world's longest postage stamp, a tribute to the Filipino Catholic tradition of Simbang Gabi or dawn masses starting every Dec. 16 and ending on Christmas Day.

The 2024 Christmas stamp, titled "Simbang Gabi sa Ilog Pasig," was launched at the Kartilya ng Katipunan Shrine during Manila's simultaneous Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
