MANILA, Philippines — Thousands of elderly overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) stand to benefit from Republic Act (RA) 11982 or the Expanded Centenarian Act, which will be fully implemented in 2025.

In a statement on Friday, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said it expected an efficient distribution of benefits through the Elder Living System, a program designed to address the needs of thousands of elderly OFWs and their families.
