Woman cries foul over 'identity theft'

BACOLOD CITY — A woman from Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, has discovered that someone from Valenzuela City, Metro Manila, used her name to marry an Indian on Nov. 16, 2023.

Evelyn Ruela said she has asked the help of a relative to secure a certificate of no marriage (Cenomar) from the provincial office of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Office in Bacolod City.
