NSTW unfolds in Cagayan de Oro

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — For the first time, the National Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (NSTW) is being held in Mindanao, with different innovations and technologies being presented with the aim of offering solutions towards a green economy.

The NSTW is an annual event created through Proclamation No. 2214, series of 1982, issued by former president Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. and was later amended by former president Rodrigo Duterte through Proclamation No. 780 in 2019 to be celebrated every fourth week of November for maximum participation.

SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY WEEK The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) is set to showcase over 100 exhibits and conduct 30 technical forums during the 2024 National Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (NSTW) which kicked off on Nov. 27, 2024, at the Limketkai Center in Cagayan de Oro City.
