by The Manila Times
Nov 29, 2024 11:44 pm
Nov. 29, 2024 marks the deadline or 'one last chance' given by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) to individual jeepney operators to apply for consolidation under the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program of the government. The LTFRB said that jeepney operators or drivers who fail to consolidate will be unable to benefit from government programs like the fuel subsidy and the service contracting program or Libreng Sakay, which provides financial assistance to drivers and operators.
