Ratliffe leads Magnolia past Blackwater

Ricardo Ratliffe erupted for 30 points and 18 rebounds as Magnolia smothered Blackwater, 118-100, in an overpowering start in the PBA Commissioner's Cup on Thursday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

The 35-year-old Ratliffe marked his return from a seven-year absence in the PBA by dominating the paint against a Blackwater side that just lost Troy Rosario to free agency.
