Tree plantation established in Albay

MANITO, Albay — The Energy Development Corp. (EDC), in partnership with Forest Cooperation Organization (AFoCO), and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), has established an arboretum here in an effort to mitigate the effects of climate change in the area.

Arboretum is where a collection of native trees, shrubs, herbaceous trees are to be cultivated for the purpose of reforesting the geothermal complex to protect biodiversity and regenerate indigenous trees here.
