ILOILO CITY — This city cemented its status as a leading economic hub after being recognized as the second fastest-growing economy among all highly urbanized cities (HUCs) in 2023.
The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Tuesday that the economy of Iloilo City grew by 10.5 percent in 2023, with its gross domestic product value at P160.28 billion based on the Provincial Products Account data.
