I WOULD like to share my comment on the one-day visit of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. today to the UAE (the original plan was for him to meet his kababayan in Dubai on Nov. 25:

Given the chance to meet President Marcos in a town hall meeting with fellow Filipinos in the UAE, I would have reiterated what I wrote in July 2022 and in July this year, proposing to make the UAE the base of a Global Emergency Response and Crisis Center of the Department of Migrant Workers, and an overseas extension of the Presidential Action Center (PAC) covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), respectively.
