IN its continuing commitment to support job generation, SM Supermalls — in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) — hosted the Project DOLE Action Plan and Transition or Job Fair to support displaced information technology (IT) and digital workforce.

During the two-day event at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, 70 employers from the IT business process outsourcing sector, retail, manpower agencies, hospitality and overseas employment agencies welcomed 865 job seekers. Of these, 136 were hired on the spot.
