Converge routs Terrafirma in rousing Commissioner's Cup debut

MANILA, Philippines — Converge kicked off the opening of the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup with a lopsided 116-87 demolition of undermanned Terrafirma on Wednesday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig.

The FiberXers got off to a 34-16 start in the opening quarter and stayed aggressive all throughout, en route to the 29-point hammering of the Dyip.
