THE Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (NV-PDRRMO) has reported nearly P1.4 billion worth of damage to crops and livestock resulting from the onslaught of Super Typhoon Pepito (international name: Man-Yi) on Nov. 17.
Although this was only a partial damage report, the NV-PDRRMO said crops alone sustained approximately P917 million in damage, while the livestock sector incurred damage of around P11 million.
